So, it’s bad enough when a government leaks secret data about you when you know they have it but it’s even worse when they leak information about you that you don’t know they have. Or maybe it’s not your government…who knows. At any rate, three misconfigured S3 buckets were found to contain “dozens of terabytes” of scraped social media data. So, maybe not top secret data (even though it was labeled as such), but it’s certainly now no secret what they’re scraping.
